Online Benefits Enrollment Compared to Traditional Benefits Enrollment Methods
Online benefits enrollment is the act of enrolling in insurance benefits, using an Internet-based system. Users of the eDirect Online Enrollment System log on to a secure website to enroll in insurance benefits provided by the user's employer or provided by a trade association of which the user is a member. Traditional methods of benefits enrollment include filling out paper forms which are faxed or mailed upon completion.
