Benfield Group Limited is a reinsurance and risk intermediary based in London, England. It has been listed on the London Stock Exchange since June 2003 and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index. Matthew Harding, the investor in Chelsea Football Club, made his fortune from Benfield, having been one of the leaders of a management buyout in 1988.
