History
Ecclesiastical Insurance Group Plc (Ecclesiastical) provides insurance and financial products and services for individuals, families, groups and organisations that care about their communities and the environments in which they live and work. They are also a company that donates a significant proportion of our profits to charity.
They are no ordinary insurer.
Ecclesiastical is British-owned and was founded in 1887 by Churchmen, largely to protect churches from the consequences of fire. Today they don’t just insure churches. They also specialise in charities, education (from nurseries to universities), heritage properties and the care sector. A wide range of products compliments these specialist areas: home insurance, wedding insurance, mortgages, financial advice and investments services. They still believe in the personal touch.
Customer service is as important to Ecclesiastical as the product itself. At Ecclesiastical, you can always talk to a real person, not a machine and many of their customers tell them that they have a first rate claims service.
