Kumho Life Insurance Co, Ltd. (hangul:금호생명) is a South Korean insurance company. headquartered in Sinmunro-1-ga Jongro-gu Seoul, Korea. established in 1988. The life insurance group division of the company controls a large portion of the South Korean calling card market under the brand name Stand By (hangul:스탠바이). The "Kumho Life" CEO is Choi Byeong Gil (최병길). and actress Cha Seung Won is featured in Korean Kumho Life commercials.
