Stated Amount Co-Insurance Clause is a requirement to insure for an agreed amount of insurance based on the statement of value filed. Underwriters agree in advance of any loss during the term of their policy that the agreed or stated amount will be used instead of trying to determine a percentage compliance as with ordinary co-insurance clauses.
